American Pit Bull Terrier
The American Pit Bull Terrier is a solidly built medium size pure breed dog whose early ancestors came from the British Isles. The American Pit Bull Terrier is the same as the American Staffordshire Terrier but other people says that they are totally different breed because of their difference in size, the American Staffordshire Terrier is slightly smaller than pitbull terrier. The pit bull terrier was recognized by the United Kennel Club and American Dog Breeders Association (ADBA), but not the American Kennel Club (AKC).

American Pit Bull Terrier Appearance
The American Pit Bull Terrier is a solidly built, short-haired dog, their coat is short, shiny, and stiff to the touch, it comes in a variety of color including red, blue, brown, grey, black and white, and brindle. Like other breeds of dogs, it is recommended to brush their fur occasionally. It is better to bathe and groom them as necessary and used the right shampoo and conditioner for their fur to make it soft and smell good.
In summer they are not advisable to stay outdoor they are prone to heatstroke, make sure to give them enough clean cold water, and stay them in a cool place for their safety.
It is best to keep their dental hygiene and nail care properly, periodontal disease is very common to dog whatever their size, brush their teeth several times a week to help remove tartar and bacteria and maintain the good condition of their teeth. Trim their nails once or twice a month to prevent injury in your dogs, long nails can also cause arthritis or other health concern in dogs.
