What is Sherbet?

If your dog accidentally ate or you already feed your dog sherbet before knowing its effect on his health don’t worry because a small amount of sherbet won’t harm your dog’s health, he might just only experience stomach ache and diarrhea that must be stopped after few hours.

Note: Frequent feeding sherbet to your lovely dog can cause health problems to his health, you must also be mindful of the flavor of sherbet because even though milk is not toxic for dogs there are some fruits that are toxic for them.

Can Dogs Eat Lemon Sherbet?

The short answer is NO. Like any other flavors of sherbet, lemon sherbet is rich in ingredients that are not safe and can harm your dogs in a large amount. The lemon which is the main ingredient in lemon sherbet is toxic for dogs, especially in large amounts.

Note: All citrus fruits (including lemon) contain essential oils and chemical compounds that are toxic to dogs.
