Pizza is an Italian food that is usually round, flattened made with yeast wheat-based dough topped with tomatoes, cheese, and other various other ingredients. Pizza is now popular around the world with so many different version (flavor).

Can Dogs Eat Pizza?

Avoid feeding your dog a pizza because it contains many different ingredients that is harmful to them. If your dog accidentally ate a small piece of pizza you don’t have to worry it wont affect their health as soon as possible just monitor them, however if your lovely dog snout-deep in a pizza box or accidentally ate a piece, two or more you should visit your Vet especially if your dog have allergies or intolerances to wheat.

Pizza sauce is often made from ripe tomatoes which is healthy treats for dogs however ripe tomatoes is not the only one used to make pizza sauce it also has other ingredients such as garlic and herbs that is very harmful to dogs.


It is not pizza if it has no cheese on the toppings but is is rich in fat content and calories which is not good for dog it consumed too much.

Cheese can be a safely fed to your dog in moderation but you must remember that not all types of cheese is safe for them. You also need to know that all dog breed is lactose intolerance ( a digestive disorder caused by the inability to digest lactose, the main carbohydrate in dairy products) if you give too much cheese to them they might experience vomiting’s and other health problem like pancreatitis.


Any processed food is not also healthy for dogs, it is loaded of salt that can cause high blood pressure or aggravate underlying heart disease.


Pizza is not a healthy food or treats to your lovely pets, avoid and never feed this to them.
