The short answer is YES. Dogs can eat cook (boiled) quail eggs in small amounts and moderations. Like chicken eggs quail eggs are also full of nutrients that can benefit your dogs in fact, quail eggs are much richer in many nutrients than natural eggs.

Don’t overfeed quail eggs to your dog because like in humans it can cause stomach ache, vomiting, and diarrhea.

  • Fat – it is a concentrated form of energy that gives your dog more than twice the amount of energy as carbohydrates and proteins do.
  • Protein – the essential amino acids your dog gets from protein contribute to healthy hair and skin, muscle development and tissue repair, and many more that help your dog’s body function properly.
  • Vitamin A – helps maintain healthy skin and coat, it also supports the normal body and brain growth and helps support eye health in your dog.
  • Vitamin E – is good for a dog’s immune system, muscles, heart health, liver, nerve cell membranes, and healthy skin and coat.
  • Riboflavin or Vitamin B2 – helps support the metabolism of amino acids and carbohydrates in the body that helps dogs maintain good digestion.
  • Vitamin B6 – is responsible for glucose generation, red blood cell and nervous system function, hormone regulation, immune response, niacin synthesis, and gene activation. 
  • Folate – it is necessary for normal metabolic functions such as DNA synthesis and red blood cell production. 
  • Vitamin B12 – helps maintain a healthy nervous system and brain function, as well as for the formation and growth of blood cells. It’s also involved in intestinal health.
  • Iron – is responsible for carrying oxygen in the hemoglobin of red blood cells throughout the body so her cells can produce energy. 
  • Phosphorous – helps in muscle contractions which aid in motor functions. This helps your pooch perform normal functions like walking, chewing, and more.

Quail eggs are a nutritious food for both human and dogs however if your dog eats too much of it or frequently eat this it might cause some health problems like obesity that will eventually lead to heart problems, high blood pressure and many more.
