The Drentsche Patrijshond is a breed of dog belongs to the spaniel-type hunting dog originated in the Netherland. This dog has a resemblance to both spaniel and setter types of dogs, they are intelligent, loyal, and sensitive excellent as a hunting companion and family pet at home.

Drentsche Patrijshond has a medium-long dense coat with feathers on the leg and longer hair on the front of the chest, giving the impression of a longer-haired coat. They have a mix of different color combinations such as tricolor, orange and white, and brown and white.
