The Drentsche Patrijshond is a breed of dog belongs to the spaniel-type hunting dog originated in the Netherland. This dog has a resemblance to both spaniel and setter types of dogs, they are intelligent, loyal, and sensitive excellent as a hunting companion and family pet at home.

Drentsche Patrijshond Appearance

Drentsche Patrijshond has a medium-long dense coat with feathers on the leg and longer hair on the front of the chest, giving the impression of a longer-haired coat. Their fur is not curly, but they also have wavy hair that lies flat on the back up to the tail, which is covered in thick hair that tapers. They have a mix of different color combinations such as tricolor, orange and white, and brown and white.
