Great Pyrenees Appearance

The Great Pyrenees has a double coat, its topcoat is long and thick and should be coarse in texture. It can be straight or slightly wavy, but shouldn’t be curly while the undercoat should be dense and woolly. There should be a thick fur or ruff around their neck and feathering on the back of their legs. Their face and ears should have short, fine hair, while their tails have longer hair that forms a plume.

Their coat color is white and can have varying shades of gray, red (rust), or tan around the face and ears and sometimes on the body and tail.
