Labrador Retriever Appearance

Labrador Retriever is a well-muscled and strong dog, their ears hang close to the head and set slightly above the eyes, they have slightly pronounced eyebrows and their eyes color comes in brown or hazel with black lining around it. The tail is quite broad and strong, they have webbed toes which makes them great swimmers.

Labs have easy to maintain short and dense coat, it is weather-resistant that protects them from the cold and wet. Their coat comes in chocolate, black, and yellow. Bathe them every once to twice a week or if needed, Use the right shampoo and conditioner for their fur to make it soft, silky, and to eliminate any doggy smell.

It is also best to keep their dental hygiene properly too, periodontal disease is very common to dog whatever their size, brush their teeth several times a week to help remove tartar and bacteria and maintain the good condition of their teeth.

Trimming your dog nails once or twice a month will prevent injury in your dogs, long nails can cause arthritis or other health concern in dogs.
