Labrastaff Appearance

Labrastaff

As a new type of mixed-breed dog, there is still not much available information about the Labrastaff appearance however because of his/her Labrador Retriever and Staffordshire Bull Terrier parent you can expect them to have a muscular, athletic, broad and sturdily body built, his/her ears might be placed high on his head or will hang down from his head, the eyes should be round in shape and will come in a color of hazel, brown, or amber.

The Labrastaff coat is short, dense, and straight it comes in a color of black, brown, or brindle. They shed quite a bit so a regular brushing of their coat is needed if you don’t want to see your house with flying fur. It is better to bathe them every once to twice a week or if needed, Use the right shampoo and conditioner for their fur to make it soft, silky, and to eliminate any doggy smell.

Try this fur cleaner that you can buy at Amazon this is a great cleaner for the floor, sofa, and clothes.

Labrastaff Size

The Labrastaff is a medium to large-sized dog however as a mixed breed, the exact size standards might vary. You can expect females to be slightly smaller than males.

Female17-23 inches40-70 pounds

Labrastaff Personality

The Labrastaff is an energetic, playful, loyal, and smart dog, they enjoy playing with kids and have a high tolerance so even when their ears are being pulled by the kids they will stay still and continue to play with them. They are also very affectionate and love to be with their family all the time, a cuddle on the couch for a long period of time is not a problem for them and they love it. Because of it, separation anxiety might be a problem if they’re left alone for a long time if you are going to leave for work and no one can look for them make sure to have some distraction toys so they won’t get bored and back as much as possible.

Labrastaff Health

Labrastaff has an average life span of  10 to 18 years, they are generally healthy, but like all other breeds of dog, they’re also prone to certain health conditions like the following:

Ear Infections It is a common canine health problem, and it can be caused by allergies, yeast, ear mites, bacteria, hair growth deep in the ear canal, and more.
Allergies Allergies are a misguided reaction to foreign substances by the body’s immune system, there are 3 common types of allergies in dogs, Skin Allergies, and Food Allergies.

How much is the Labrastaff?

Look for a legit seller or breeder of Labrastaff, the legit breeder put a lot of effort into high quality and healthy breeding of dogs. They provide healthy Dog Foods, visit the Vet for check-ups, Vaccinations, Vitamins, and proper Grooming of the dogs.

Here in ohmlovelypets we encourage aspiring fur parents or current fur parents to Adopt and Don’t Shop. Give those lovely pets the opportunity to feel love, care, and to have their so-called furever home.

Note:  The expenses of Taking care a Dogs does not end in buying one after you bought or adopt your Dog you must provide their necessary needs, like Visit Vet ones a year for their health check-up, Complete and follow up Vaccinations, Foods and provide Vitamins as their maintenance and the most important is Time to play and cuddle with them, I think that’s the most affordable one, giving attention to them, proper care and lots of love from you…

  1. Hi, I’m Gabriella!

loving your website, very informative and helpful for new Labrastaff owners.

My partner and I are currently in search of a Labrastaff and would very much appreciate if you can keep us updated when breeding season comes round. We would prefer to get a male Labrastaff however females are also welcome. Preferred colour either black or golden brown.

Hope to hear back from you.
    Cheers,
    Gabriella

    • Hi Gabriella, Thank you for loving our website it’s our pleasure to spread information that can help fur parents like you and the dogs around the world.

Gabriella Labrastaff is a hybrid breed of dog and considered as a designer dog but many of them are, unfortunately, end up in shelters because of some sorts of reason (abandon, abuse, stray, etc.) so instead of looking for a breeder and paying lots of money to get one we advise you and your partner to look for a shelter to find a perfect Labrastaff (or other loving breeds of dog) to take care of. There are a lot of animals especially dog that is in the shelter and waiting to be adopted and have its forever home and a family that will love and cares for them for the rest of its life.

As a fur parent itself, I am assuring you that helping other dogs in need (by volunteering, fostering, & adopting) is very rewarding, the feeling of helping dogs and getting unconditional love from them is such a blessing. Whatever dog you will get whether you buy or adopt we hope that you find a fur baby that will suit your lifestyle and will love forever, it’s very rewarding to have a fur baby because they will stay and truly love you for the rest of their life.
