Lowchen Appearance.

Lowchens are a small breed of dog with a thick, long, fairly wavy coat that has a velvety feel. They come in a variety of colors and combinations, and no color or combination is preferred.

Bathe and groom the Lowchens as required, and use dog shampoo and conditioner to keep their fur smooth, silky, and odor-free.

Ear Infections are a frequent problem in dogs that can affect one or both ears. Check your dog’s ears at least once or twice a week for redness or a foul odor, since these are signs of infection. To avoid ear infections in dogs, make sure they are clean. Use a dog ear cleaner and gently wash your dog’s ears with a cotton ball saturated with ear cleaner.

Feeding & Nutrition

Dog’s diet should be appropriate to their age, size, and activity. The Lowchen can do well in dry dog food for a small-sized breed with high energy or even home-cooked food as long as it suits their needs. Don’t give too many treats because it can make them obese.

The recommended amount of dry dog food you can feed to your Lowchen is 1/2 to 1 cup divided into two in a day. Don’t forget to have clean, fresh water available at all times for your dog.
