Maltese Dog
The Maltese is a white small breed of dog that originated in south-central Europe, they are smart, calm, loyal, fearless, and lovely which makes them popular family pet companion.

Maltese Appearance
Maltese coat is pure white and it’s long, straight, and silky. Their eyes are round and black but it can be brown too, it is very expressive you can see through their eyes if they are sad or happy, it shows their emotion. The nose is black, pinkish, or brown. Because of its long and silky fur, proper and regular grooming is needed. Bathe them every once to twice a week or if needed and use the right shampoo and conditioner for their fur to make it soft, silky, and to eliminate any doggy smell.
It is also best to keep their dental hygiene properly too, periodontal disease is very common to dog whatever their size, brush their teeth several times a week to help remove tartar and bacteria and maintain the good condition of their teeth. Trim their nails once or twice a month to prevent injury in your dogs, long nails can also cause arthritis or other health concern in dogs. Short, neatly trimmed nails keep the feet in good condition and prevent our dog’s legs and our legs too from getting scratched when they excitedly jump up to greet us.

Dog’s diet should be appropriate to their age, size, and activity. The Maltese can do well in high-quality dry dog food or even home-cooked food as long as it suits their needs.
Generally, the recommended daily amount for a Maltese is 3/4 to 1 cups of high-quality dog food daily, divided into two meals.
