Miniature Pinscher

The Miniature Pinscher, also known as the Min Pin, Mini Pinscher, and Zwergpinscher is a small breed of dog that belongs to the pinscher type originated in Germany. Mini pinscher looks similar to a Doberman in appearance, but Mini pinscher is much older breed and smaller in size than Doberman they were both bred to hunt vermin, primarily rats, in homes and stables.

Miniature Pinscher is the small breed of dog, weighs around 3.6 to 4.5 kg. and their height is around 10 to 12.5 inches, they are structurally a well balanced, sturdy, compact dog. According to AKC Min Pin has a docked tail and cropped ears, and their legs are straight with no bending in or out. They are very charismatic with their short, and sleek coat with no undercoat, the most common colors of their fur include red, black and rust, and chocolate and rust.

Like other breeds of dogs, it is recommended to brush their fur occasionally. It is better to bathe and groom them as necessary and used the right shampoo and conditioner for their fur to make it soft and smell good. It is best to keep their dental hygiene and nail care properly, periodontal disease is very common to dog whatever their size, brush their teeth several times a week to help remove tartar and bacteria and maintain the good condition of their teeth. Trim their nails once or twice a month to prevent injury in your dogs, long nails can also cause arthritis or other health concern in dogs. Legg-Calve-Perthes DiseaseLegg-Perthes is the condition where the blood supply to the head of the femur (the large rear leg bone) is decreased, and the head of the femur that connects to the pelvis begins to disintegrate. The first symptoms, limping and atrophy of the leg muscle, usually occur when puppies are four to six months old. Surgery can correct the condition, usually resulting in a pain-free puppy.
