The Pudelpointer is a breed of dogs that originated in Germany. They were a versatile hunting dog that hunts with or for humans. It is a type of gundog typically used in finding games, they came from a cross between the German hunting poodle and the English Pointer.

Pudelpointer Appearance

The Pudelpointer coat is harsh, wiry, and dense it comes in the liver, chestnut, and occasionally black color. They shed very little but like other breeds of dog, it is still advisable to bathe and groom them as necessary, use the right shampoo and conditioner for their fur to make it soft, silky, and smell good.

While grooming you should check for any signs of infection such as redness, tenderness, or inflammation on the skin.
